New area soon, Battle System coming soon


Hello everyone, I have implemented the following:

  • New areas
    • Notably the story progression, with extra cutscenes to fill in the gaps from different areas, because of this the story will now make more sense.
  • More Characters
    • While not apparent here, I have worked on various characters and I am now working on their animation trees
  • Battle System now in development
    • The battle system is currently under development, This means that the stats in the pause menu will now make more sense when the player is up against an enemy.
    • Battle system will also have its own unique multiplayer mode, I will use MLAPI to implement this
    • The system is turn based and uses scriptable objects to implement the variables of different characters. The online module will also let players choose anyone from the story although with their "default" stats.

Other ideas that may be considered in the future:

  • Party System
    • Where the player has a party member with them
    • Will be able to get hints from that party member
    • Might even be able to fight alongside the player given the circumstances
  • More cutscenes (Obviously)
  • Work on an improved state machine system to reduce load on update

Unfortunately no snippets of the other characters at the current time, but you can see at least new characters while playing ;)
